Muhammad Abdullah

Muhammad Abdullah is an author and the publisher of High Tea Magazine, based in New York City. He is also the Founder & CEO of THE FREELANCING HUB LLC, at thefreelancinghub.org.

High Tea Magazine began in 2018 as a locally printed and sold magazine in Pakistan. It moved online in February 2022 and relaunched in 2025 after a rebrand. Today it is a New York magazine of culture, style and commentary. Muhammad is its Publisher & Editor-in-Chief.

He has written three books. The Silent Hill came first, published in 2018 under his former name, Mohammad Abdullah Riaz. It appeared as a Smashwords ebook in September 2018 and as a 48-page hardcover in January 2019. Unrequited Affections: Echoes of Souls Entwined, a romance novel, followed in 2023. His third, The Gospel of a Distant Fire: A Novel of Silent Longings, Bitter Betrayal, and the Heavy Embers of a Ruined Love, came out in 2026: a free ebook on Apple Books, released August 19, 2026, and a paperback from Barnes & Noble.

Teaching is part of his story too. He has worked as an English Literature Teacher at Government Post Graduate College No.1 Abbottabad and as an English Second Language Teacher at AusPak International Official.

His early research is listed on ResearchGate: “Thesis on Aqueous Removal of Acid Orange 8 and Crystal Violet using cheap adsorbent based on the leaves of Ficus Religiosa”, dated September 2013, with Muhammad as first author. He was 11 at the time (he was born in 2002).
